Take me back! When we leaned back in the garden on a lazy Sunday afternoon. With tea and crustless sandwiches, cakes, and scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Around 1840, Anna Russell, Duchess of Bedford, felt pangs of hunger between luncheon and dinner, and she asked for tea and something to eat. Afternoon tea was created. After she began to invite friends to join her it became a convivial repast in many households.

Enjoy afternoon tea in the best British tradition. From a Tea for Two to a large group. Tea Traveller has been catering for afternoon tea for almost 25 years. We are at your service seven days a week, at a time and place that suits you.
Your table is set with linen, Wedgwood china and various delicacies. Such as fresh sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, , a variety of cakes and gateaux, quiches and other savoury snacks, making your tea party a true banquet !
Afternoon Tea (29,50 p.p.)
- Fresh sandwiches filled with salmon&cucumber, egg&cheese, cranberry paté
- Scones with jam & clotted cream
- Assorted tartlets (meringue, raspberry, chocolate)
- Macarons
- Assorted small almond cakes
- Mini éclairs
- Fudge
- Assorted small quiches
- Small sausage rolls
- Seasoned chicken skewers
- Spiced meatballs with peanut sauce
The menu may vary by season but is always accompanied by superb loose teas, made with purified water. We can also serve coffee without extra costs.
We always use Wedgwood china. Special requests can be easily filled with advance notice.
Depending on the distance, travel costs can be calculated.
‘Thé complet’ voor kinderen (7,50 per child)
For small children we can serve a nice thé complet with juices, small cakes, candy, crisps, and a surprise. Older children can join for half price.
High Tea (31,50 p.p.)
- Fresh sandwiches filled with salmon&cucumber, egg&cheese, cranberry paté
- Scones with jam & clotted cream
- Assorted small quiches
- Small sausage rolls
- Seasoned chicken skewers

As mentioned earlier requests for lunches and drinks&bites can be easily filled. Also additional staff, extra furniture, tents can be taken care of. Do not hesitate to get in touch for more details. Courtesy costs nothing!
Sweetened Bubble / High Wine
Multiple packages are possible. Based on your own budget, we can make a proposal free of charge. Extra staff, furniture or a tent, all can be customized.
